Opening the doors for the first time in August of 2023, Ben and Jo Ann Cross Elementary School is the 34th elementary school in Mesquite ISD. The two-story building, serving 1,000 students, is located in the southeast portion of our District. 

Named for Ben and Jo Ann Cross, the school will have a tagline of "Recognizing the Impact of All Educators," and will have a designated area that appreciates the influence of teachers. The Cross' were long-time teachers in the district and are still involved with the Mesquite Community.
